Amici Trust, is a professional non-profit organization working on the frontlines of leprosy eradication and support for people with disabilities living in rural and remote parts of India. The core of Amici's work rests on two pillars – firstly medical rehabilitation which includes reconstructive surgeries, supply of medication, aids and assistive devices for disabled and secondly training for community health workers and government doctors. The latter is a community based inclusive development programme which provides vital support to self-help groups comprising people with disabilities, women, persons with leprosy as well as tribal and vulnerable populations, as well as support for education, vocational training and other income generation activities. Today, 150,000 people from across India directly benefit from our interventions. Your support will allow us to move towards a 'leprosy free India.' The goal of all our work is to ensure that every individual we work with has a better quality of life.
